Dr. Ashutosh Murti is a faculty member at IIM Shillong with an interest in people, organizations, and how workplaces function. He holds a Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy from the School of Management and Labour Studies at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Before joining IIM Shillong, he shaped minds and policies alike at the Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad, and his alma mater, TISS.
Dr. Murti’s scholarly pursuits lie at the intersection of Human Resource Management, Personnel Economics, Leadership Development, and Human Resource Analytics. His work connects academic concepts with real-world problems, especially in the areas of talent, skills, workforce challenges and Startups. When he’s not engaged in research or teaching, Dr. Murti spends his time mentoring students and working on practical ways to bridge academic insights with real-world challenges.”
