RagBag

RagBag: A Sustainable Solution to Textile Waste

The fashion industry is one of the largest polluters in the world, with millions of tons of textile waste ending up in landfills or incinerators every year. Our RagBag initiative addresses this crisis by upcycling discarded clothes into reusable and durable fabric-based bags.

Impact So Far:

✔ Reduces Carbon Footprint – By diverting textile waste from landfills, we significantly lower CO2 emissions that result from decomposition.
✔ Eliminates Plastic Pollution – Every RagBag replaces single-use plastic bags, restricting the use of millions of plastic bags that contribute to environmental degradation.
✔ Empowers Marginalized Communities – We provide livelihood opportunities to women and LGBTQ artisans, promoting economic sustainability while driving environmental change.
